Meh chapter, wouldn't say much

Literally flew right through this chapter since it was the exact same as the show

I don't even care, hope we get to see Asuka.

Well, the idea was to move position so the Angel would have a harder target.  It actually makes a good deal of sense to move, despite the Angel hitting them anyway. Rei did indeed protect him, but it looks like the Angel's shot was too much for her as expected.

                        I don’t see why Shinji moved his sniper position.  The enemy was able to track him easily enough and Rei still had to use herself as a shield.  Their lucky Shinji didn’t unplug the rifle with that stunt, but he was ordered to do it so he’s not really to blame.

Yeah, that did make a whole lot of sense. Anyway. it was awesome when the beams twisted to avoid each other. So much for typical anime/manga power collision.
