I vaguely remember this scene from this anime. Tempted to go watch go it again.

                        I'm almost a bit surprised that scanlations haven't gotten further. It's like with lolibund, official releases are further ahead than scanlations.

Heck, they're even similar in the authors' skills to pull cliffhangers at the end of each volume.
