Well, about Revy making the first move... It could be the way you put it, its really possible... But what i think is that Revy is such a tough girl all the time, which came from her at least harsh experiences, BUT she aint when it comes to feelings... IF She was that tough, she would do a move already, come on... Shes the kind of girl that if She wants something, She wont ask, She take it right?

I mean, what more can happen between them in this kind of limited relationship? They are already spending time mostly together as good friends, trusting and depending on eachother in most ways right...She is lovely in her own way, and he is a good guy, and we know that She really likes him right?

I mean when it comes to character, she should be the one to hide the feelings, not him, right? So why he is so neutral when it comes to something more... hmm

Maybe thats the main reason why She kinda wants but is not doing anything hmm? Shes not seeing that "Spark" in him about her?

Maybe the kind of situation that You mentioned could be some kind of igniter that will set her on fire... hmm

Or maybe it will happen otherwise, and He will be the one to do something about it.

But I cant predict what would be an igniter for him actually...

Btw, I cant blame her for not beeing so open to Rock, after all that what she came across in life... That how it works, people that carry a heavy burden are closing themselves mostly...



in that scene from Anime in the second episode of Robertas Blood Trail, when they talk about another dangerous mission Rock want her to take part in, she says :

"Then where does that put me if i tag along with You? Thats what I would like to know"

Then he gives her the pretext she needed with that story of her being the gun and him being the bullet. Dialogue only by itself doesnt show it, but its the feel of whole scene... The look in her eyes etc. Anyway, right after that little talk, she comes from the shower only in panties and short towell that didnt even cover her whole breasts and she is looking for water in the fridge bending a bit over... He is blinking few times at that moment but thats it... I mean... He look like he doesnt even care... thats can be her style but his? what is he now? some kind of playboy? i dont get it.



I loved that scene.I think rock didint react cause he had to much shit on his mind and also I think he actually respects revy to much to go for it.He may think she might react negatively and thus ruin the partnership they share.I think in the end revy will have to take the stand and go for it.She proboly thinks noone will take him away from her since the life they live and how much time they spend together and we have seen if someone does try she will proboly kill them.I do hope something works out for them later on may it be living together or dieing together.

I agree with you in almost everything. Did u ever think about that Rock is just afraid of her in some way? He know her long time now around year and half and in the same time don't know anything about her and she know everything about him. I see something like Rock being confused about this four eyes and she die in some point and in that moment Revy jumps in cuz she is sick of him being hurt so many times...so i think Revy will make first move somehow. I would like it happen like they got drunk together or something like that haha

as far as i remember the series  came back in 2013 after a break (coz of Authors side project) but i dont know the pattern, once/2 months a chapter or something like that?

Revy blushing was great, i like how the character are developed in this manga !

Well, u might be righ, but still... It just somehow doesnt end up imo... I mean it sounds pretty reasonable, but i just cant see or read it fully that way. Maybe its a mistake in my own interpretation...



Anyway, she may thinks that noone will take him, but i got that feeling from the past events (with that Japanese Girl for example) that when there will be other girl (maybe like that new one now in the manga), Revy might just stay behind. The way he was when they was talking in the caffee or restourant (with that Japanese Girl, dont remember where it was exacly) made it kinda clear to me that He just might have totally different taste or whatsoever. It was totally different imo, the whole situation. And something of this kind may as well happen now.

If none of them (Rock or Revy) will do something about it, they will propably stay the way they are, coz its just as U said, at least safe that way for the sake of this kind of their relationship.

But who actually gonna really regret it? I think that the one really wanting something more atm is Revy, not Rock... Something might happen that will finally attract Rock to Revy, or as You said She might go for it, but for how is it now, i think we can as well say that it might happen with the other girl...



If your talking about teh girl from that yakuza arc I beleive he refered as a kid. It seemed there was nothing there just actual concern for the situation and casual conversation.This new chinese girl that poped up she kissed him and he didint care much for it and the most reaction we got from him with her is "yea its fucking badass to choose how you live or die". It also seems any female that gets close to him or jokes about him sexually she basically gives them the back off reaction threat to make sure they know where she stands and what will happen if they go futer the chinese girl even says "is this for touching your man" witch revy doesint deny at all. To be honest I dont see revy taking action unless she meets up with a girl who waves off her threats.I would be very dissapointed if nothing between happens or rock finds another girl. I feel for revy since the main reason she cant make a move is cause of her messed up child hood.I think one of the big pushes for the story will be whenever revy finally shares her full past with rock.Though god knows when that will happen since the series likes to come out whenever it dam well pleases. Witch sucks since even since the anime black lagoon has become one of my favorites and revy becoming proboly my top female character in anime/manga.

well the thing that bothers me is why it didnt happen till now? We see Revy changing affection for him since the start of their relation, but i cant really feel his change towards her... thats strange... it seems to be pretty on the same level all the time.



I think, the problem might be, that Revy just aint his type right? He is good hearted guy, and maybe he likes the kind of that Japanese mafia girl, before she freaked out...Good and sweet in the good meaning f it kind of girl.

Shes hot, i give her that, and deep inside propably good-hearted as well, but on the outside, shes cold-hearted b1tch that dont really give a fk, dangerous and merciless, even evil to the bone sometimes right? She is allways trying to solve her problems by violence, shes having problems with self-controll etc.

I cant blame her tho, coz of all the misery she propably went through (beating, rape, loneliness, who knows what else) and Rock doesnt know that, so shes not really giving him a chance to try and understand her...

Well, as far as i see Eda in this, and there isnt much of her, she only shows the kind of affection to Rock to mess a bit with Revy, she aint really looking like shes really interested in him, but maybe im wrong. There is not much of her in the story to get a better picture for me.

I rather think that something might happen between Rock and that new Chinese chick... hmm

Revy maybe saw it coming, coz she especially took her to the bar and talked about Rock right?

Well about + and - sure it is that way, in theory :) or rather it can work that way. But to be honest emotionally inteligent person would pick his/her partner not only about being opposite to eachother right? You have to know what is good for You when you want to create a deeper relation, and if it can work, in my opinion...

For example whats the point in getting married if you will get a divorce anyway... Well for trophy wife hunter it propably wont be a problem :D

But everybody can base their "taste"  or interest on something different.

Some think mostly about good-looking, some about intelligence, good heart etc.

Ofcourse sometimes it just happen, that even You dont know why.

But i cant see this kind of spark coming from Rock here...

To me, he seems to be rather a reasonable guy, and if there is no crazy love, he will think it though before pick any deeper relation with girl.

Well, it might as well be as You say, that Rock, exposed to that rotten city will slowly change, stepping down onto the road of being bad, i even almost thought that, but then i realized it was just a plan to help the South Americans boy and his maid duo, and then he went back to normal, or i misunderstood it. hmm

Anyway, I hope that something will happen about it, more than everyday struggle :P but i just dont think it will be in any chapter soon :(

I mean it is 86 chapters already and nothing serious happend in the "romantic aspect" between them till now right or even seem to happen right? Well i love the series anyway, cant wait to get more of Revy and crazy action! :D

Well i think that Rock feel something too. He spend too much time with Revy on his own will. And he was ashamed when that four eyes kiss him in front of her too..But Im dying too see them together and i hate those romantic shit actually. So I hope we are right xD
