Black Lagoon Chapter 83 Discussion

So I suppose this isn't published every month then... how annoying.



But I echo the previous predictions, methinks Bao is about to lose his bar yet again.  Revy does have a tendency for destroying it, yup.



Revy really should just hold Rock down and take him, methinks he won't resist too much once she gets going.  I have confidence in her.

+2months for each release? is the manga being released at such painful rate? anyone know?



That aside I am absolutely loving the relationship-tension-ish development. DEFEND YOUR MAN NOW REVAY.

Wow, Revy didn't deny it like I expected when she asked if she was there to fight about Rock.... that's some progress in her character- normally she'd insist that whoever suggested it needed a shrink, or padded cell, or something.



It was a surprise.... also I was surprised she didn't shoot her in the head right after she ended the kiss too.... probably with the excuse that she didn't need someone like her putting strange thoughts in his head, or getting so close to team members.



These slow releases are so annoying, I'm having trouble remembering what happened last chapter and having to go read it or part of it again. It's a real pain. Anyone know why their so slow? Is the Mangaka sick or injured?

This was definitely an interesting one. I am a RockxRevy fan and I did enjoy the shock reaction of Revy when Feng kissed him. I was kind of hoping for a bit more jealousy but this is Black Lagoon. It is normally very serious so the cartoony reaction that you normally get in anime are keep to a minimum so I guess I should be grateful for what I got. Although I did like how she didn’t deny that she was bother by the kiss when she confronted her at her apartment.



I also like the bit were Rock said that he is starting to see Ronapour as the Black and White that people always say it is and Revy is talking about how she is not sure who Rock is. Then you see her going to Feng and not Rock. Maybe they will do a thing where Revy was already planning on helping her because she new Rock was going to help her and she catches Rock attempting to go to her apartment. However, maybe Rock really wasn't going to help her and Revy feels like helping her.



Either way I think that it really show how both characters have developed. Revy really has changed and become more willing to help people because she has Rock in her life and he is willing to challenge her view on things when nobody else will. Rock has also changed, not necessarily due to the influence of Revy but being in Ronapour in general and his need to find excitement in life.



It kind of plays up on my theory that I've had for a long time. Which is Black Lagoon is either going to end with Rock and Revy getting together or Rock is going to die. It might be appropriate since he has got the same English Dub voice of Light from Death Note.
