Black Lagoon Chapter 54 Discussion

There was definitely lots of Revy in this chapter, which was an awesome thing.

Man, I wish they'd stop acting like a married couple - being totally comfy with each other, even when Revy's naked/showering with the door open - and do the deed. It's cool and all that Rock isn't acting like pretty much every other blushing/virgin male lead in manga/anime, but you'd expect some reaction to Revy walking around topless/wet!



I'm wondering whether Revy is so comfy around Rock because she trusts him 100%, or if it's because she (as well as he) knows that she'd be able to break his neck if he made a move on her. (There's also the possibility that she thinks he's gay, too, and that's why she's so close to him.)



Viz's translation had Revy say something along the lines of, 'We need a ritual before I keep saving your stupid arse', which obviously made me hopeful of Rock getting hard with Revy. But, going on the internet translation, where Revy expressed the need for there to be an understanding between them, there won't be any mating rituals occurring any time soon.



This needlessly lengthy/slow Roberta arc isn't all that great, and I'm only reading for Revy + RevyxRock. So, yeah--please screw soon!
