This series is quite lighthearted. The MC is pretty bland and basic, trying to be the good guy while considering all of the other gods to be tr*sh. Although the action and fight scenes of the series are nice, that's all they are--they aren't great or exciting. There also isn't much detail given to monsters or non-female characters, which is pretty disappointing. All of the fights thus far are straight-forward power battles, so there aren't any creative strategies or battles of wit. There isn't any suspense, which someone might like if they only want a light read they don't have to think much about. It's fairly mediocre.

The harem theme really annoys me, so I can't recommend avoiding this for anyone who even slightly dislikes harems. At least, half of the plot is focused on developing a harem. I had hope for the series when I saw started shipping a couple of the girls together, but then one of them suddenly decided she was going to be in love with the MC. What is the deal with all of the heroes being female? Of course, ALL of the girls are considered beautiful. Harems are considered okay in this setting, and no one involved seems to have any qualms with it. It comes across as awkward and unnatural. No one gradually develops feelings or progresses in their relationship or anything. It's just -BOOM- "I love you!" which feels like it's coming out of nowhere.

Only one harem member is the exception to this so far, and that is only because she has known him for eons. Even then, the MC's reaction toward her changes from "A person I absolutely cannot feel a lick of physical attraction to" to "A lovable member of my harem and possibly my future wife." It feels really abrupt. There isn't any smooth character development at all.
