I dropped this after a few chapters. The story's great so far, the translation is good except for two HUGE details that irked me to the point I couldn't continue: it goes repeatedly from the first to the third person, then sometimes it's narrated in the present tense, sometimes in the past tense. There's no regularity even in the same chapter, it's so distracting! Here are two excerpts from the first chapters:
- But it wasn’t so shocking for Dalia, who regained her previous life’s memory.Besides, my mother died shortly after I was born, and my father was too busy to be in the mansion, so I didn’t feel particularly sad.
- She’s only 13 years old.Whatever I do, obviously, 100% I will be ignored or cheated. I had to stick to this mansion until I saved enough money.So what can she do now? To consistently look naive to my brother and plan for the future.For now, she decided to concentrate on Hikan. And focus on tomorrow’s funeral.
