Leaving this review after reading the latest translated chapter.I usually read childcare novels for the fluff but this story is more than just the typical fluffy, doting & sometimes cringey father-daughter relationship.1. PLOT - The plot is nothing new and the events are even predictable BUT what got me so hooked about this novel is how the author executed the story narration. It was well-done. It has been quite a while since I got so hooked to the point that I screamed in frustration because the latest chapter (c100) ended when a very important event was about happen. This novel got my emotions in a rollercoaster. It made me excited, annoyed, frustrated, sad, and happy. Really, reading this novel felt like a full-time job yet I kept reading cause I craved for more.2. CHARACTERS - MC is very clever and I especially like clever MCs. Supporting characters are fleshed-out too. They left quite an impression on me. Even the 1st main villain was given a backstory. There are also the usual bullies & third-rate villains so there are a lot of face slappings. But what I liked is that the 1st main villain actually uses her head. Just like the MC, the 1st main villain is quite clever and sly. She devises plans to sabotage MC and co. So there are times when the MC's group takes a blow but they eventually turn the crisis to their advantage.Spoiler
the ML is SUS!!! You'll get what I mean when you read around 90+. I think this is the author's way of being "crafty" and misleading the readers about who the real "suspect" is and I probably fell for it but STILL!
[collapse]This novel had me on a tight grip!
