Pre-Review Notes: (up to translated ch 222, which is around raw ch late 40's, so below halfway through)
- Plot is pretty much FL engaging in harem battles by scheming and acting cute.
- She's a 27 year old actress with a cold life who died and transmigrated to a 5 year old disliked fifth princess. Eventually she climbs the ranks of the imperial palace through basically making everyone love her.
- Ex: her imperial brothers and eldest sister once all sent imperial physicians to look up on her, lmao.
- FL pretends to be all cute in front of the siblings to get her way (their interactions are quite funny and made me laugh out loud several times), but she can also be quite ruthless. Her narration is a little stale, as she's just like "time to meet more NPCs" or "looks like I'm going up against a mini-boss, " but I do believe as the story continues, she gains some emotional depth with her fam and it's not just scheming (sometimes it's hard to tell).

- You know, I'm glad there isn't really a "romance" up to the translated chapters I've read bc FL just turned 6, lol, but the ML is pretty much in the background.
- I skimmed some of the MTL (which wasn't too good with all the historical terms) and he kinda remains not-developed. Seems like the main leads get together as they grow older, so at least there isn't g*ooming or anything weird going on for the underage FL, lol. But in general this is not very romantic compared to other imperial palace Cnovels I've read.
- The highlight is definitely re-building the imperial family through light psychological warfare (as the FL acts as a green tea b*, lol) and reconciliation. Some FL's choose to kill their way to the top, or maybe dominate over other factions. This FL chooses to act cute/nice and give gifts. She deals with her opponents with a smart, iron fist and even gets a support system that helps out.
- Overall a pretty satisfying read (in terms of face-slapping) where you're never really worried about the stakes, since the FL has great delivery from the moment she gets reborn.
