Halfway through the story it becomes xuanhuan, it will lean more on martial arts and war with LF not exhibiting her "green tea" talent eventually.

As the imperial children get older, it will focus more on their marriage and more or politics and war. Romance will bulldoze you somewhere in the middle.

I can roughly compare this with To be a Virtuous Wife but more shoujo and less josei elements. It did not tackle the palace intrigue so much as TBAVW and LF still holds on to her modern era beliefs (like you should not kill) so eventually it settles to the middle ground with her saying something with her philosophy.

It's still 5/5 and whether you would choose TBAVF or VWTTOANL, it's a matter of taste.
