Dropped.

The problem for me is feeling bad for the ghosts! Such an immoral capitalist world lol.

First off, I don't know why the MC doesn't just leave when the Lord God controlling the Game doesn't want him here and MC is an illegal not human outsider player anyway. He can't earn points properly, and the God has already decided that MC can't be reincarnated into a new world like the other real players. Maybe it changes later but for now, what's the point? Eating ghosts?

Which comes to my second point: the ghosts. Basically the whole game is mainly to cause extreme emotions among humans to generate energy. Pretty typical in an infinite abyss set up. The ghosts however have a deal that if they work XX amount of jobs, they can reincarnate as a baby and get a new life. The Lord God agrees with ML that okay y'all can eat his ghost workers, as long as you don't interfere with other stuff. And the ghosts are DELIBERATELY not told about this shady deal. They still work hard and have their soul beads be eaten and are forced to reincarnate early in a less beneficial life. All because their Boss said, it doesn't matter, he has so many workers who cares. Both the normal humans and the ghosts get such a bad deal in this novel. And it being a comedy novel makes me feel like watching a corporation taking advantage of its employees and our MC is just a third party enjoying the game.
