At least until where I read, it's 80% viewer comments, 10% cooking, 5% nauseating nationalism/patriotism and maybe 5% actual story.

The "China best country" is seriously off-putting, the author acts like only Chinese descendants are still alive and actually kept their whole ancestral dna like they never mixed with other people.

It has been 2k years. I'm not sure the writer really thought that through because it reeks of racism how she portrays viewers praising MC for not being mixed race and how they are waiting for China 2.0 to happen.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't think about it much, very little in this novel makes sense, explanations and background are half-assed at best, downright nonsense at worst.

MC is the stereotypical transmigration-food-streamer, ML is of course a general, because that seems to be the only option for this type of story.

Yes, it's pretty much copy-pasted from every other novel with this topic, just a tad sloppier and even heavier on the nationalism.

Maybe it's fun for you if you really love food-streaming and can look past the blatant racism, it definitely isn't for me.
