I wanted to like this because the food descriptions and it is readable... my problem from the start is the supposed love interest. Spoiler
I'm not even that far in and this guy in chapter 1 is the reason the original soul is gone, let that sink in, and he keeps attacking our MC for no reason and MC is just ok with that level of straight up violence in his life. MC really went "I want that one" points to rabid dog who already killed him. It happens so early so I'm just here staring at them all ignore the red flags.
