After Waking up Beside the Villain Chapter 1 Discussion

I skipped the first arc because of a plot point I find disagreeable Spoiler

the MC r*pes the ML im the first arc, it's also like the 1st chapter. But it's unwittingly? Because the MC transmigrates in the middle of it, but I just hate the fact that they become lovers after it all regardless. It's the ML I feel so bad about. It's also due to my worldviews that I just can't justify them being together. All rapists must die and are unredeemble, but the MC kinda isn't because it wasn't his fault, but I digress

So I just read the last chapter of the arc and read up until the 3rd arc. I really like the 2nd arc it's not too heavy and pretty entertaining.

I loved the 3rd arc so much and I'm convinced it would have been better if the author made it an actual novel instead and removes the whole transmigration thing.

But after reading the last chapter of the arc I really don't feel like reading the rest. It introduces a big part of the overall plot which should have been lowkey the climax of the entire story. So after checking and realizing we're not even halfway done with the book I don't feel like reading the rest now because it's so convoluted and complicated. It's not that I don't understand what's happening it's just that TOO much is happening all at once now.

So I'm dropping it. The text is really good so I won't give a low review, I just wanted to illustrate why one could drop this.
