Fairy Trap Chapter 59 Discussion

This story was written well. The characters are intriguing and the plot is unique. The smut scene you ask? *Chef’s kiss* marvellous (no non-consent s*x so far).

I expected the novel to be super angsty based on the summary alone but it was enjoyable. MC and ML were sweet to each other.

MC is so precious lol. His backstory brings tear to my eyes and I feel for both him and his family althought the way they treated him was not that good. I normally prefer bottoms with strong personality (maybe even ruthless/cunning) but MC really touches my soft spot (not saying that MC’s personality was weak, I just thought he was a cinnamon roll). He had a blind trust and loyalty towards ML (somewhat submissive) but honestly I didn’t find that part disturbing.

Maybe it’s partly because of how ML treated him. Yes, ML is your typical lunatics: he was cruel, cold-hearted and of course never hesitant to delete a few fingers/arms/legs/etc. Of yours if necessary. He was even possessive and obsessive towards MC. Despite that, ML was really affectionate to MC: he tried to keep MC safe, healthy, allowed MC to do whatever the f*ck he liked and told MC to never suppress his feelings (this hits so hard because back when MC was with family, he always forced a smile so that they wouldn’t be worried). Sometimes ML still showed some concerning thoughts, like “oh maybe I should erase his legs so no running away” but eh, he never acted out on that (dude didn’t even dare to hurt MC lol even he got multiple chance to).
