- #1
Arc 1 - MC advancing tech and science by several generations and therefore avoiding claims as a traitor - Full of Nationalism for sure. But it's readable. Skip this arc if that bothers you. The science is hand-wavy and mostly to push the nationalism. That's the pure plot of this one.
We only get a hint of possible romantic ties between MC and ML. And barely any background. I think there's basically a handful of lines that indicate that MC might originally be a baby dragon. The System and MC seem to have good ties (they are bffs) although overall the System doesn't do much.
Arc 2 - zombie apocalypse where MC has prophetic powers and solves it all - Nationalism continues. I wish each arc had more plot/back story. At least we have some movement between MC and ML.
Arc 3 - school and live-streaming, MC avoids the calculations of a two faced white lotus friend who was using him as a wallet while hating. (The summary doesn't seem too accurate unless it's referring to another arc) - We get more backstory and worldbuilding. And a bit more insight into ML.
Arc 4 - Modernization of Ancient Times, MC is in a world where a modern girl (antagonist) transmigrates to ancient times. MC acquires world power by dragging the ancient world (ML is the crown prince) into future world by introducing various technologies and information and culture - Writing is getting a bit better and with more plot. The romance is more present. Or thereabouts. This is quite the slow burn.
Arc 5 - interstellar abo - pretty good imo. No nationalism here 😂. Finally. The plot gets better with each arc. It feels like the author is really getting better. We finally have actual romance and movement in this slow burn. Standard interstellar plot but still fun for me. Child of the World (basically the favored one) is very kind and on the MC's side this time. This is a first in the novel so far. This story is funny because OG has a mental illness so MC has constant beauty filter (as in he sees the world with a filter) when interacting with hateful people 😂.
Arc 6 - entertainment industry with live-streaming and cultivation, MC has lived for 5000 years - Fairly interesting. Clear antagonist but because I read thru mtl, I'm not sure 100% on the backstory. But logic seems clear.
Arc 7 - cultivation world is where MC is a mortal who uses his brains to win - great arc. MC basically smarts his way thru. This is the arc described in the summary about gems
Arc 8 - online game streaming anchor and holographic technology - I wasn't crazy about this one but interesting enough I kept reading.
Arc 9 - overlapping worlds with monsters and a reborn character
Arc 10 - so turns out the summery #3 that didn't align with arc 3 is actually for this arc. MC's soul changes with someone else due to an accident and this other soul is basically the antagonist. - This one was interesting. Romance is more present with each arc so I enjoy that. I do skim a lot of the fake technical stuff.
Arc 11 - MC has a shitty family and there is no child of luck - this was honestly just the same repetitive tech advancement focused with romance. Not bad but a bit boring.
Arc 12 - cultivation fic where science meets cultivation practices
Aec 13 - primitive life of orcs and suborcs (basically humans with animal characteristics and can transform into animal form). This is the first arc (I think) where we don't get info on ML regaining his memories. I kind of like how it ended. Especially the sort of redemption for the rabbit antagonist.
Arc 14 - using an app to connect the world of humans and ghosts. Honestly the writing gets better as better with every arc. And slowly less formulaic.
Arc 15 - this is a change. Fake/evil god and protecting the masses by absorbing evil. MC fakes being two people. - Writing pattern is changed up. An intense arc for sure.
Arc 16 - MC is a student who goes on to be an award winning director (one of the only arcs where it's not constantly MC just improving the same tech) in modern day society. Also he has a brother complex. One of the few arcs where OG soul made a deal for MC to take over.
Si Lin's (the brother) diary ending is so funny. Dude is hilarious brocon.
Arc 17 - MC using meantal powers to soothe ML, entertainment Love variety show, MC is a tsundere character
Arc 18 - Transmigrator cultivator MC in his band of worlds so MC doesn't really have all his memories while ML does. Reversal of how most of the past arcs have gone. It's a world where there are multiple world hoppers and time travelers. The MC is preemptively tryin to stop a war between the new travelers and the existing world. Really strong nationalism and pretty negative about other countries.
So I finally figured out a section of writing after Arc 15 that I was confused about. Basically MC acts as a QT worker in ML's jurisdiction with ML leaving only a portion of his consciousness in each world (so MC has full memory but ML doesn't) and ML does the same in MC's jurisdiction so it's a reverse scenario where MC is a silver of himself and no memories in those worlds. I like this new format/shift in plot.
Arc 19 - Futuristic period. Mechas. School life/military college. MC is a switched at birth scenario. Raised himself on a tr*sh planet. His biological father is the son of luck/world.
His world power gaining solution is to educate. He does this thru live streaming and games during his school years.
Arc 20 - Ancient times. MC his usual OP self. ML is the son of the world in this one. MC and ML don't get romantically together immediately in this arc because of mistaken identity. Plot isn't very complex nor as detailed as the last few arcs.
The ending was basically three lines. Perhaps the author got tired?[collapse]
