I read to about chapter 78 then skipped to around 100, read a few chapters, then the last one. It did start out good, but then it got boring. Mainly because it was annoying how she keeps getting targeted by other girls and yet she couldn't figure out who the person behind the scenes were despite being reborn. It felt like the author thought she was too OP so made her dumber later and then kept certain antagonists because they couldn't come up with a better idea. Everything became too cliche, ML2 becoming an antagonist at the end? Check. Female antagonist who hates her to death becomes an un-killable c*ckroach? Check. ML getting poisoned and nearly dying? Check. MC and ML getting separated and there's a 2 year time skip? Check. Suddenly there's a foreign tribe that MC has to go and infiltrates by pretending to be a dancer even though the book has never mentioned her being able to dance before? Check. Like, the ending is literally so disappointing, the writing is chaotic, and it ruins everything the beginning had set up. Within like 30 chapters:
- the ML gets poisoned
- they try to find her master
- she gets kidnapped by ML 2
- MC escapes and gets saved by her master
- then ML is lost on his way to find her
- THERE IS LITERALLY A 2 YEAR TIME SKIP WHERE SHE JUST GOES BACK HOME AND TAKES OVER ML BUSINESS AND TRIES TO FIND HIM BELIVING HE'S STILL ALIVE EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD NOTHING TO GO OFF ON,
- then ML 2 was like, oh I'm so sorry I wanted to kill ML and kidnap and r*pe MC, I just hope they're still alive so I can apologize to them and MC is like, sure thing I don't mind bc I'm too worried about hubby and if hubby is still alive while she's just relying on other people to find him
- she is so dumb that she doesn't even try to find out who tried to kill ML and she only finds out after the new emperor told her that it was ML 2's wife who was the main female antagonist and has always been after her life since the very beginning. And she DOESN'T CARE. All she thought was like, oh ML 2 and female c*ckroach are very bad people, so they're perfect for each other and finding my hubby is the most important thing. Like no revenge, no wanting to get back, no nothing after all that they have put her and ML through. She just takes it and ignores it
- she finally finds ML after a lot of boring chapters about another tribe in the western region or something etc etc. And he's only lucky to survive because that tribe actually knows how to cure his poison. Otherwise he would be dead and she would have no idea. And he never wrote back home because he's been in a coma for a year and then couldn't remember or talk well and suddenly just a few months ago he's finally fully cured but there was something weird going on in the region so he decided to stay put and figure things out. Just every excuse not to at least send a message or something to let MC, who he's supposed to love the most, know that he's ok. This is literally so lazy of the author to write. Why do you feel the need to separate them??? Why do you need to have a s*upid time-skip that accomplishes nothing?? After hyping up so much about his poison, it was just cured, just like that. Randomly by strangers passing by and they just happen to take him away. And MC's reaction is just so s*upid. The love of your life is gone for 2 years and you just go about your day??? You even talk to your enemies as if they weren't the ones that caused this??
