Fourth Perspective Chapter Completed Discussion

The writing is overall much more captivating to me than The Earth is Online. I felt drawn in and wanted to know more about the characters as well as what happens next in the story.

In The Earth is Online, the characters were very meh to me and I wasn’t curious to know more about them. While the characters here have some similarities, such as being MC being very logical and acting cold/unemotional, they have more depth, like MC actually being very caring towards his mother, and having insecurities, etc. ML is very OP and mysterious just like ML in The Earth is Online, but he’s also actually has a personality—I like his often mildly-amused expression and his random little lies just to toy with MC.

In the comments on JJ people were saying there’s no romantic content, but that makes sense to me because having romance too early would not make sense based on the plot progression and the nature of their relationship.

The greatest failing of this novel is the logic... ironic, since the powers have to do with logic. But there are many times when a conclusion is reached by taking huge logical leaps that only lead to the answer because... the author already knows the answer. A normal person without prior knowledge in the situation would have no way to solve the mystery based on the clues given. There are clues that are treated as “patterns” or clues, but they only happen once. One instance is not a pattern... Anyway, the logic and inconsistencies (author forget side characters’ names??) get worse and worse as the novel goes on. The end is also super sudden. But overall still worth the read.
