.... Haaa there are times where crossing over two genres from differing cultures turns out great, this is not one of those times. The Author is a pe*vert and constantly thinking with his dick, but not outright putting anyone in *ahem* situations, just that he makes too much mention of things he really shouldn't... No joke it reminds me of a webnovel written by h**ny tweens that focus too much on details like how the protagonist is very sweaty, and the like. Beyond that shitshow, there is also the issue of they tried to blend Japanese with wuxia in a way that makes the entire story boring, too much arrogance, hypocritical characters, and people that don't stick to their personality. Oh suddenly this character has memory issues like a ditz, why wasn't this done sooner? Idk screw yourself. The entire novel ain't consistent the yuri is terrible and there really ain't any progress here, and the author loves to swear, making a lot of censored words in the thing which makes it even more unreadable. All in all? The author did have a good concept, you can enjoy the first few chapters, but beyond that, you will be more annoyed than corrupted nobles in a grimdark story. I'm not joking there's way too much inconsistency with the clans of this novel and everyone does things dishonorably which really shouldn't be done in an honor striven society at the time. Want a better read? Legend of the Five Rings has a better portrayal than this shit
