I loved the premise for this novel. Protagonists that aren't human, don't have common human sense, and use that to break through challenges is fun and exciting! That being said, this particular series falls flat for me. The main character doesn't bring enough life (haha) to the series, and his blasé attitude actually becomes frustrating after a while. It's not the end of the world, and I know some people like characters like that.My main complaint for the series is the actual instances. Now, I need to be clear here; I didn't finish this series. I got frustrated enough that I dropped it. But the difficulty scaling in this series is through the ROOF. I have a bit of a grudge against infinite flow novels where a minimum number of sacrifices are expected. I hate it when there's no 'perfect clear' option, even if the protagonists don't achieve said option in the end. And in salted fish zombie, I just can't see how several of these instances were supposed to be cleared by normal people. Our MC breezes through them because of his incredible strength, special constitution, and overall OPness, and the author never makes it clear how you were supposed to survive and clear the instance without the brute force method displayed. At that point, I'm not having fun watching MC play around, I'm too busy feeling sorry and bitter about the poor side characters.I know there are contradictory reviews that say the opposite, but I genuinely do not understand how the second or third arc was supposed to be cleared without the MC, or being EXTREMELY lucky. It's kept me awake at night, and my indignance has been festering. Not for me, and not for anyone who particularly likes infinite flow for mystery, puzzles, and good world building.
