Man, I read this a while back and I forgot why I hated it so I read it again. This time I'm leaving a review so I remember.MC is the plain, timid type that honestly has a hard time letting go of things, whether it's his cat, his first love girl, his past.... It's tedious.ML has serious mommy issues. He's the regular rich 2nd generation and he acts sooo spoiled. He's arrogant and looks good with his silver hair and green eyes but besides that... I'm not sure how MC can stand him. Oh, wait, it's cuz of his cat. It's like whatever ML does has this deep plot-driven force that makes MC associate everything ML does with his cat. Bizarre but we already talked about some of MC's flaws.I honestly believe MC could be replaced by any gentle, caring mother and the story would be the same. ML just wants to be taken care of and pampered, whether it's home cooked meals or coaxing words whenever he's in a huff. The man-child attitude is a huge turn off.The romance later is kind of okay but it also feels super typical. Y'know those rich CEO stories where the ML dotes on the Ordinary Poor Heroine™? Yeah, it's exactly like that.I also dislike the plot. It's mostly fueled my misunderstandings (yes, I know the tags say it) but they're super dumb misunderstandings. They don't really make sense to me and they definitely wouldn't hold up in real life. Some characters do or say things like they have no actual knowledge of MC, just superficial knowledge and it confuses me because aren't you friends??? If I loved my cats enough to specially prepare their meals and spend as much time with them as MC does, my friends would definitely be hearing me cry about one of their deaths. Like, it's not a secret so I don't know why it's not brought up.Anyways, it gets 2 stars because it's not terribly written. The beginning was actually kind of funny, whenever ML and MC's cat has a stand-off or whatever.
