I've read the novel armed with jjwxc amd google translate up to ch. 70 or so.Its a slow burner with fluff on one side and a lot of angst on the other side.The plot is built on misunderstandings, but I don't hate it, as its not as blatant as in other novels, where characters are very outspoken usually but to make plot happen speak in roundabout ways 🤦♂️ Both our MCs are quite quiet people, so it usually makes sense.Description from author from chapter notes :Spoiler
I liked one of the author notes to some chapter, its a novel about two unlikely to get along people with their own traumas overcoming them and healing together!
[collapse]About the most annoying thing for me - the food descriptions and recipes kind of disappear for long stretches of time as plot picks up! So if you're struggling with it, I suggest skimming over those paragraphs 🤣Overall, 4 (3.5) /5
