Don’t Be Jealous, I Will Bend Myself Chapter 27 Discussion

The first arc/world in this world hopping story is great. The MC and female lead's relationship is very funny and very cute in that first world.

However the second arc/world is bad. Spoiler

MC and FL's relationship centers around the MC being unable to touch the FL without feeling pain because of the system. This makes their interactions feel forced and nowhere near the level of cute and fluff of the first world since MC is forced to not touch FL for a majority of the arc. Things like hand holding, hugging, cuddling, and kissing are actively avoided by the MC. It's just frustrating and not fun to read. I want my fluff already!

Also the system in this story is basically a really annoying brat that doesn't help the MC at all. Spoiler

It pretty much only exists to pick fun at the MC, and is really unbearable in the second arc because it is the reason for MC being unable to touch FL without feeling pain.

The first arc, which is the first 19 chapters, is amazing, and I highly recommend at least reading up to that point. Spoiler

Even the translator is not excited by the second arc, and has slowed updates for this story because of it (Reference to TL note at the top of chapter 24).
