Don’t Be Jealous, I Will Bend Myself Chapter -- Discussion

As usual for a QT novel, the pacing is awful, and randomly starts going mach 10 at random. The ending of each world is rather unsatisfying. Furthermore, the ending of the novel is awful. Not only does the ending basically take place in a few paragraphs, but it is also frustrating to say the least.

So I have to say, upon reading the ending of the novel I can safely say I don't like the main character's mother or girlfriend at all. Even if they just wanted the main character to regain her memories that she lost due to someone erasing them for nefarious purposes, there is a very distinct lack of consent from the main character. She was literally drugged to fall asleep at one point and forced to go into another virtual world. The entirety of the novel is basically the main character being mind-f*cked by her mother and girlfriend. Despite the main character quite distinctly not consenting to any of what they did, what annoys me even more is she wasn't even angry.

I would also like to state that what the main character's mother and girlfriend did was no different from brainwashing. [collapse]

Overall, a mediocre QT novel with bad pacing, but the ending ruined it for me.
