Old Fogey Goes Down The Mountain Chapter 34 part2 Discussion

The lack of common sense in this novel is the Best part of it AT ALL!!! THE BEST MOMENTS!!

It lack of Common sense in unusual way I would say.

One part of it was the relationship between MC and ML. Their past is Mystery. ML seems to know and don't know MC at the same time? At least that's what I get. But the lack of common sense wasn't about that part. Spoiler

Their First time meeting have MC immediately pounce ML to try to eat him because ML's Heavy Yang Qi. But ML is too strong physically as in MC can't take a chunk of his meat (?). He can left bite mark though.

Anyway ML painted as this Cold Aloof guy. At first it seems he would feel disgusted by MC bite and lick his skin, neck, fingers, etc. And he did frowned at the beginning and tried to push MC away. But somehow he still end up 'let' MC bite and suck his finger.

Anyway he doesn't shy away from MC after that; personal space, skin touch, etc. One reason was to watch over MC for security reason. The other is... He seems to have affection for sure toward MC. So subtle if not for the fact his jealousy was so obvious to us Readers.

Other than the chemistry between MC and ML, of course other part was about the Ghost system.

I'm only in the 30ish chapter so far, so I can't tell what's wrong with the Supernatural thing in this world novel.

The most favorite beside the relationship between the CP is definitely the Wei Family dynamic.

I love how in the beginning we seems to expect the family would be like other novel where they're annoying or evil and there's Faceslapping going on. But no no no. MC don't let that happen.

He immediately take control of the whole house. He basically can't hear other's complain about what he's doing.

He interact with his Step Mother as if she's his Employee. So is toward his father and younger brother.

His father loudly protest but everyone know who's strongest now. In funny way of course.

And his young brother is my favorite! He is this Gloomy keep. The one who suppose to be the beloved child and popular playboy, and yet at home not even take hours, he became one of MC'S 'employee' who keep cleaning the Sect Name Tag (?) /Jade/stone banner (?).

He keep looking and being Gloomy and yet he doesn't complain!!! My boy I hope the author keep him this Lovable unique!!

Anyway this novel is so much Fun!!! God I pray so hard the rest of the story is as Fun and Satisfying till the end!!! 🙏🙏🙏🥹🥹🥹
