Sort of good, sort of bad. There are interesting developments but I'm not a fan of the MC or the way he does things. He's incredibly slimy and his (frequently s*upid) reasons for doing things can be pretty annoying. You get situations where he refuses to do x on general principle, but he's willing to do y, which is even worse, just to comply with x. And there's no reason why has to do x in the first place. For example, he refuses to pre-emptively go after his enemies because they haven't wronged him yet. He needs to give himself an "excuse" to act against them. But he'll happily do things that are worse to get the excuse. There's a point where he finds someone to befriend specifically so that they can get mu*dered and he can have a tragic reason to strike back. This scheme is even more ridiculous when you consider the fact that he's already enemies with the revenge target and he doesn't need some flimsy excuse to act. It's stuff like that that drags the story down.EDIT: And yeah, like bkwrm said, the point system he comes up with is pretty jarring and he does awful things to people who haven't harmed him enough to justify that level of revenge.
