This is a cute story. It's more of a town-building tensei with a group of evolving kobolds going out on adventures. There can be some pretty slow parts describing their advancements in civilization but they don't last more than a few chapters at a time. The chapters are pretty short and they are further broken up by the translator without indication of how their chapters correspond to the originals. The arcs are clearly marked on syosetu and they are fairly short too so it's not too inconvenient if you want to switch between the original source and the translation. I'm switching over at chapter 138 according to the translation but it's actually chapter 104 in the originals. The translation is good other than the chapter splitting though.
