While reading this story I achieved enlightenment in the great dao of korean power fantasies. There is only one truth and it is thus: no matter how dark, backward, or evil a world is for everyone else, it doesn't matter as long as you are strong enough to ignore it. And that's what this story is initally about: an op MC casually floating above the misery of everyone else around them because they are invulnerable and invincible. Horrible topics are casually brought up in this story, if you pay attention to the author's world building then the only conclusion you can come to is that this world is a terrible world to live in. R*pe, mu*der, and ens*avement are all common behaviors in this world where the strong eat the weak. Had the MC not been who she was her adventure would have ended in the first chapter with her broken corpse strewn all over the countryside. But it didn't, because nothing effects the MC because she is just too strong. In the later chapters Spoiler

the MC becomes a friend with the saint, and then becomes her guardian knight. The saint has a unique ability: she can tell who is good and who is evil, it's an innate ability that she cant turn off. The saint breaks down in tears when she finally realizes she isnt alone in this world and has someone truly 'good' to rely upon

[collapse] and that really made me realize the appeal of this story.

Some people are just so unhappy and smothered in despair that the only thing they can fantasize is, is about being left alone. And the only way to be left alone, is to be invincible. But being left alone is its own kind of poison.

Does this make for a fun or interesting story? Not really. You could probably skip the first 50 chapters or so and not miss a thing in terms of plot progression. But when the author does finally start taking their story seriously, all those little inconsequential moments start coming back and paying dividends. Eventually the MC starts gaining motivation to do things on her own initative, and she no longer needs other characters to speak for her. She starts to grow as a character and you find yourself wondering where her adventure will take her next.
