Tbh the criticisms of the other reviews are valid. I've probably been brainwashed by too many Hollywood movies, since I can see that this world isnt that far-fetched: it's often that you see the government will both revere the powerful while also protecting against them and limiting them for control. It's like X-Men. Ppl will criticize the powerful like in the incredibles. The world building is not that crazy but the netizens are indeed so annoying. I know social media is a part of our society now and it would seem unrealistic not to have it, but a couple lines is okay. any more than that is just unnecessary imo.I really like a salted fish protagonist and I do like that the MC gets kept in check because I'm kind of sick of KN novels that pretty much blow rainbow farts to the sky with their protagonists. I think the details in the novel are quite descriptive/new and the writing is creative. The translation seem good too. (Personally still can't support making money by keeping chapters under paywall. It does help that they upload daily, I think tips are fine, but other than that paywalls feel immoral besides it already being illegal). The perspective of this being the fourth time he's living through this life and that he has to continually save the world is very interesting. I really enjoy the tension from the pressure of saving the world - that's well written. The adventure and action is at the forefront for me and the Romance is not bad but to be considered.My only gripe so far truly is that why is there there a variety show in my action, Adventure, romance novel??? Can I not escape this? Is it impossible to escape if it's written in modern day? I swear, if this author did it for the netizens' input on their romance, I'm gonna puke. I don't need the netizens to fangirl BC IM THE READER I CAN FANGIRL BY MYSELF!! ok well anyways still reading. Hopefully the variety show doesn't ruin it. I'll let u know...
