The general idea of the plot, where the character of the novel finds out that he is a character in the novel, and especially the moment with the imperfect "author" who tells him about it, is really good. But the realization of this idea...The characters do not evoke any strong emotions or affection (except for the "author" character - she really pisses off). MC should be shocked by the news of her actual role in the novel, but for some reason it doesn't feel serious. A huge number of her internal monologues does not correct the situation, she just mentally chews the same thoughts, and an idea that could be put into one sentence is stretched into three or four, and this is very annoying.Perhaps this novel just needs more time (although +20 chapters is no small number), I don't rule out that possibility.
