I really like the story. It reminded me that although one should believe in second chances, sometimes, if not most, once something is over, it's really over.

So cherish each moment with the people you love.

I love the main characters and how they love each other. However, my heart goes out for the ex-husband. I have to thank/hate the author for inserting him in the story once in a while even after the leads have gotten together. It really shows that once you love someone, however deeply, you really carry them with you for the rest of your life somehow, since they did shape who you are in their own way. I'm so used to reading these kinds of stories, but it's rare that the FL won't end up with the ex. It's somehow heartbreaking, and it's a hard pill to swallow. But it's part of life. The people we once loved whether as partners or friends or even as family don't stay in our lives. Just have to cherish moments with them while we still can and one day say "thank you for stopping by."
