I kind of enjoyed it. The main character is a ruthless teacher that is learning about other ways to teach. I would hate to have him as a teacher.There's something lacking, but I cannot find what that missing thing is. I think the combat is one of the issues. The author uses onomatopoeia such as swoosh, whoosh, etc. To denote action such as swinging a blade. The sound effects are used for each action scene, making them feel less interesting to read about.I do recommend at least trying to read past chapter 1 or evening skipping past most of chapter 1. The backstory only serves as worldbuilding, and the author will eventually show readers more of what occurred during the main character's previous life.Since I am only 49 chapters in, I cannot say whether it will get better, but I hope it will.
