I can't tell if the MC's toxic relationship with his newly wed wife is because they are newly weds or if it's going to improve over the novel - right now, it's unfortunately looking like it's here to stay. The wife is a reincarnator, so she forces the MC to spend all his money and time building Earth conveniences for her, from refrigerators to stoves to hair dryers. She doesn't try to adapt to her new world, she just forces the MC to match her ways.The author tries to pass it off as compensation that the wife helps the MC discover his own talent, but I'm really not sure why the MC didn't know about his talent from the start? He wasn't shunned by his family - rather, his family and friends seemed very proud about him and were very vocal about it, but somehow the MC didn't get the memo that he's talented? I'm also not sure what cooking culture looks like in the world - they have some extraordinary dishes, but then the wife brings out scrambled eggs and for some reason everyone's shocked beyond their minds?I personally don't like the novel's flow much, I think I get what it was trying to do but the characters aren't particularly likeable to motivate me to read more.
