This is a very light-hearted novel, it filled with fluff and no over-dramatic relationships hence very straightforward.I really liked this book, because of the relationship between the MC and ml. The ML is a clingy, innocent seme and the MC is a straight-forward lover. There is no "im cant be gay" trope or the "my best friend is in love with and tht made the ML jealous" trope. 2 tropes I personally have a strong dislike towards, the novel had a straight-forward plot which makes it really good to get after deep and heavy novels. It is also hilarious, with the MC snarky comments about the ML being eating soft tofu (spending money made by the wife). The ML just being innocent and watching a lot of dog-blood drama, that he can use the MC.Spoiler
my fav ML scene was of him reading a mafia novel and wanted to try the torture part on the mc's stalker fan, as revenge, which he didn't understand the methods he was using were over the top.
[collapse]Overall, I highly recommend reading this after a deep and heavy novel or if you're having a bad day and want something light to kill time.
