The Academy’s Barbarian Chapter 117 Discussion

There's just something about these stories with barbarian main characters in a non barbarian setting, that always make the quality jump phenomenally. This is due to how unique the main character is, yet filled with realism, while breaking apart modern conventions, morals, and culture.

However, the quality of this novel dropped a bit from C50-70, from there the general story started be filled more with filler content. As am academy genre novel too, this made the general story have a repetitive structure and somewhat predictable plot/outline (though bias wise I'm a fan of the genre, but this did not affect my review).

This would be a great read in my opinion, but the future harem can be a turn off for some. But unlike most harems, this was actually written very good for the most part, but there is a bit too much emphasis on this sometimes in the story.

On the off note, whether you liked this story afterwards or want to try another novel before this, I heavily suggest reading "Surviving the Game as a Barbarian". One of the best novels I have ever read.
