It's a good story. The protagonist is unique for these types of stories. His denseness could have been anoying, but it is offset by how direct, blunt and decisive he is. He ends up being quite charming. Secondary characters are also likeable. Not really complex by any means, but they do have enough depth to prevent them from being cliched or boring. The story has good pacing, not moving too fast nor too slowly. It is engaging and has good actions scenes. I do wish the character were a little less overpowered, but it is used for some funny scenes and later enemies do provide challenge.It is not high literature, but it is an enjoyable read for what it is.
