I'll be completely honest. The biggest affront to any entertainment is being annoying and being boring. This LN suffers from being boring. That's an instant 2 stars being knocked off.

The reason why this LN is boring is because this novel puts a front of being an adventure isekai but it turns into a big slice of life romance. It starts out great too! MC is is thrust into the adventure aspect in the name of financial stability and had a steady path of being OP in his field. And then the obvious romance part scooted in giving us that BL aspect of the novel that was expected. And then, it just tapered off.

I understand that the role MC is supposed to play is a big support role to his MLs but I want that adventure to keep going on. I get that because there's 3 MLs for MC to be occupied with and they need their screen time but they are also 3 big shots in the adventure world.

There's no external conflict to make this not boring. The only notable conflict is MCs internal low self-esteem where he's always questioning if he's good enough because the MLs are the typical huge walls that are rarely comparable.

And while MCs internal conflict is valid. The slice of life part is seriously hemorrhaging on my expectations of action and adventure that I was advertised that it was. I literally had to take a break from reading light novels for a while and pick this back up due to this.

Other than that. This LN is super easy to read. If MC didn't make his debut as an adventurer but as something less significant like a guild clerk, I'd probably like this more due to the fact that I'm not expecting a grand adventure.

The LN also does a good job warping the passage of time too. It's like reading Romeo and juliet. Alot of stuff happens but only 3 days went by. This story has the same feel becaude the world building for romance is like a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas. And as bad as that sounds, it's actually pretty good.

Also NSFW. Can't forget that.
