The title and descriptions are so darn misleading. This is a detective novel, which is written pretty damn well, MC does get abilities but not so out pf this world that it breaks the logic and realism of the world, also you can pretty much follow along the investigation and can even guess the culprit and the case would go early on and with sufficient clues given in the story, tho they do leave out some details they are very minor and the broad strokes for us to guess and follow are there and easy to spot.
