There's a lot of interesting stuff there, but it seems haphazard - whatever's convenient for the story suddenly shows up out of nowhere for one scene then is seemingly forgotten by the author.The protagonist's pretty weak-minded and spends a lot of time complaining and feeling bad for himself.The setting has a lot of inconsistency, probably because the author makes everything up as he goes along and keeps forgetting things that happened a few chapters ago. Plotholes are everywhere.Still, there aren't a ton of stories like it, so it's worth taking a look into as long as you don't think while reading novels.
