The World of Otome Games is Tough For Mobs Chapter v4 extra Discussion

  • #1
Okay, I'm going to defend this novel a little that I loved so much.

First of all, we should consider it as a parody of the average isekai otome. Mobseka is a novel just to entertain and hang out, it is not a masterpiece, although that is subjective, since it is a work that is based more on comedy.

This novel mixes a romantic comedy with the genre Isekai and the Otomes. That makes me like it a lot.

The own Leon (MC), speaks of how s*upid and illogical that is the same world where it develops, and still, in volume 3 give reasons why the Kingdom gives preferences to women. The history of the Principality is also interesting, as is the history of Hertrude and his younger sister.

What about the characters?

Spoiler

The protagonist, Leon, is my favorite protagonist today. Initially, I had found a fairly average MC, however, as vol 1 progresses, you will see that he is a character with Hachiman syndrome. That is, despite not being asocial, he is cynical, arrogant, self-centered and selfish in many occasions. He has a personality similar to Hachiman in that aspect, and we can see more of his personality by reading the novel in the first person. He is an unconventional protagonist, and does not try to be the typical MC of romantic comedy or isekai. They say that the protagonist is a fool to get the Livia's objects at the start? That is, he was going to marry an old woman, obviously he decided to do that since otherwise his life would be ruined.

Did he fall in love with Livia for no reason? I don't think, Livia has her charm, her personality contrasts quite a lot with Leon, and that's why he fell in love with her. And Anjie, because she seems to be strong, but deep down she's pretty too. After spending so much time with both of them and discovering their personalities (and that both have large breasts), Leon would obviously fall in love with them.

Luxon is a character that also serves for comedy. It mostly annoys Leon, and is a character that seems to be important to the story with that of the reincarnated.

Marie is equal to Leon in several aspects, the own novel makes it clear, but at the same time, it is seen that she loves her older brother. It's not exactly bad, just selfish, but she still loves her older brother and depends on him several times.

The five idiots are good for comedy, and before someone says they are not funny, HUMOR IS SUBJECTIVE. Not to mention that even Leon got a little more relationship with them, mainly during the time he was with Brad and Greg, or with Chris.

[collapse]

In conclusion, it is a novel that fascinated me a lot. It has good comedy (is subjective), its characters are not typical of an average romantic comedy, and the MC is the best of all. The tsukkomis of the MC are funny, and I love their thoughts too.

Nice novel
