Typical Mashima Yomu novel. I enjoy his work and this is no different. You can really tell how much he's improved going from Dragoon to Otome. The main character Leon is fantastic though his main trait of "indifference" has fallen out the window as his character has grown. And it's not limited to the MC either, each main/supporting character's arc had a noticeable impact on their personality in the story. The story is great, I specifically love how Mashima creates an reason to continue on. Only complaint is that volume 4 exists solely to set up the events in volume 5. It serves to real purpose and is a bit lacking as the climax in volume 5 is all Mashima is going for.
