The start is a bit rough, written as if the author was an actual convience store worker during the covid pandemic just blowing off steam, getting frustrated at real customers and describing them as monsters. But later on, the author begins to embrace the setting and expands on it making it interesting to read. Spoiler
the MC has an innate ability to dispel magic, he grows and trains it over time. He also gets in relationships with various returning customers, helps them with their life problems, and occasionally goes on little adventures outside of working hours.
