I personally don't mind this story all that much, but the character development is a mess. The author seems to have absolutely no intention on developing any character other than the main character, Lute, and he's is unreasonably overpowered to an unentertaining degree. It's not much of a stretch to say that Lute isn't really a character at all. He doesn't have a personality, just a backstory.The chapters tend on the short side so there is little to no substance in this story either.I've read offensively bad things that do really dumb nonsense their characters and this is not that. This is basic, middling, and shallow.
