Okay... I like this novel but really Im disappointed with the delivery. I'm 12 chapters in and I don't like how the author introduced the protagonist and the protagonists past (if there's any at all) Currently it's too soon to say it'll keep disappointing but I believe there's potential. So the review.MC regressed back in time, to when he wanted to be an idol after dying. First chapter, we get introduced to him at an audition that's happening after regression, then we get a flashback to before then everything aligns. So that wasn't bad and there's nothing wrong with that approach but then when we're supposed to learn about mc's past and what kind of person he is, it's all vague. The author is being really vague about it until the MC interacts with one of the contestants at the audition even so, we still don't get the whole info of why MC would hate this contestant until we move to the next chapter (chapters are short btw, and it feels like the author is trying to leave some cliffhangers I guess). The next chapter comes, we learn that the contestant was bragging too much that it ruined mc's chance during the audition in his past life that he quit. Ohh and also we still don't know anything about the protagonist besides that he wanted to be an idol, and something about his parents encouraging him nothing about why he really really wanted to be an idol in his last life that he'd be so desperate in his current life to debut no matter what, that he'd use the system to cheat and not even bother to ask about it's origins (lol) or what it's intentions are, is it good or bad for him in the end. Nope. There are events that are out of the blue, like his mother, sister and his hate for his future leader. It would've been nice to get a background about the MC 3 or a few chapters in before we get to the main plot, so reading this wouldn't be awkward and confusing. The good, the author definitely knows how to write, I can see what they were trying to do, probably trying to make their story unique and not start like any other idol story which is awesome but they are not explaining or giving us a lot to understand why the hate, what happened in his last life (we only get to know when he interacts with one of the characters and it's still vague). The MC has people who can support him, this is different from the orphan protagonist we usually get. Not all his relatives are evil. I enjoyed the sibling interaction.I think he'll be a wild crazy protagonist which I'm looking forward for. He's smart enough to know how to use your enemies for your benefit. That's a lot for just 12 chapters but I really am looking forward to reading more, I see potential and I hope that the author stops making it too mysterious (sometimes there's no need to be this mysterious, especially with how the story started, being simple after this would've been enough to catch readers attention) Translation is 5/5, grammar is great, no spelling errors and easy to read and understand. For now my rating will be 2.5-3 cos plot wise I'd like to see where this crazy idol protagonist goes in an idol world full of criticism. Will review again in the future.
