I really enjoyed the start of this novel, but I am quitting early because it’s just boring at this point. I enjoy a slow-burn romance, but I’m 52 chapters in and there is virtually no affection. The book has not moved me to tears at all, and I don’t feel that it is funny enough to cover the lack of depth by calling it a comedy. The plot is pretty much “demons=nature=good, humans=destroy nature=bad.” The first time the MC treats a demon or two it’s cool, but after 52 chapters of it, I’m just wasting my time reading this. Maybe that is simplifying the book a bit much, but I really do not enjoy rereading the MC going to university and going to the clinic everyday on repeat.
