Rebirth of the Useless Bastard Son Chapter 30 Discussion

If you are going to write a novel, pay attention to your storyline. Don't start a plot point, just to completely change it a couple chapters later. And don't introduce plot points that have no background... your foundation for the story will start to crumble and take away from the immersion.

MC needs a body refining manual to help fix his poor constitution. He remembers that his mother had tried to get him to study one that would have been perfect for him, but the OG found it too difficult and gave it back to her. So MC goes to her room to get the manual... only to discover it is missing, along with his mother's bracelet that was a matching pair to the hairpin the OG gave away to the girl he was courting. He figures that the main wife must have taken them.

The next day, he goes to give greetings to the main wife. At this point I am assuming he is going to use some trick to get his mother's belongings back. Nope, nothing is mentioned. And he runs into the girl he was courting wearing the hairpin he gave her. Except now it is one that he spent 10, 000 to buy for her. So the whole mother's mementos part of the plot has been nixed. Also, later he is taking medicinal baths to help fix his body... which sounds awfully like he got it from the book he mentioned. Where did this come from out of nowhere??? There is no explanation

I am not rating it at this time since I am only 30 chapters in. I feel that this may be a newer writer. Perhaps with some more experience, they can come back and polish this possible gem. I must admit I love the plot twist right before chapter 30. Remember to do unto others as you'd have done unto you... cause karma is a salty B and you don't know when or how she'll visit lol.

Also a trigger warning. MC is who-knows-how old transmigrator from a higher level cultivation world who is now residing in a 15 year old's body. His spouse is only 13 (true age). If any of that bothers you, don't pick this one up
