As the translator herself said"This is a mofumofu fuwafuwa fantasy slow life novel."And... that's exactly what it is.There is the illusion of drama and the illusion of conflict but it's just filler for the actual subject matter.It's... a nice story although obviously it's supposed to be slow paced and it's supposed to be one of those where the MC doesn't really have a personality and is oblivious to most things regarding herself (you know the "insert yourself here" type of character).I personally grew bored by the end of volume 2, but... it's fine, it's just not my kind of story, it's well written, it's got competent worldbuilding, it's got tons of mofumofu fuwafuwa moments. If anything I think it is a tinsy bit too slow and relaxing for my taste... I would say, read it after a heart wrenching drama or a fast paced action filled story... use it as brain bleach when you encounter horrible things on other novels haha.Even if it's not for me, I can see the appeal and the craft behind it, of other novels in this kind I really enjoyed it because it doesn't super focus on "food" or "appearances" and there are nice slow scenes of pleasantries and warm moments.
