I don't know why others rated this so low, but here's why I did and maybe others:

First of all, cookie cutter plot. There's nothing you wouldn't expect. Second, there aren't that many recurring characters. Outside from the MC, the "destined one MC" and the wife, the rest of the characters come and go and their interactions are shallow, leaving you no time to connect with any of them

Third, the wife, the most important character after the MC is pretty bland, and for me personally, unlikeable. She had originally deceived and dumped the MC for the destined one. And whilst the original MC was a good-for-nothing playboy, he was not exactly a bad guy. She should've just divorced him instead of playing games, trying to make him divorce her.

Also, she was supposed to be a cold character who was actually very innocent and pure. As soon as she realises she likes MC, her character does a 180 and becomes a seductress always leading MC by the nose. This not only completely changes her character but also that of the MC, who begins to resemble a Japanese protagonist.

Overall, not good. Boring, predictable and filled with annoying tropes.
