Denei Shoujo Chapter 94 Discussion

Natsumi is very selfless, just like Ai (and Yota and even Takashi to an extent). She'll feign coldness and risk her relationship with someone she cares for, if it means helping them; in this case, she wants Ai to finally reconnect with Yota. Natsumi and I are of the same mind here; I want more Ai x Yota action, too!

And I was shocked when, just as Natsumi's thinking of calling Yota to set him up with Ai, Natsumi seemingly dies! It was almost darkly comical. However, it seems like she didn't die after all; she left the hospital room to meet with Yota in person? Or is Yota seeing her apparition? This is getting crazy.



Anyhow, I want to say that, on another note: I'm not a fan of the portrayal of Yota's "dependence" on Ai at the beginning of this chapter. I don't like how that's all their relationship is being boiled down to. "It's not love or hate... Ai is just part of my daily life," Yota thinks. Why belittle your romance with Ai like this, Yota? It is love. But now, their relationship is only about working on the children's book? I don't know, this feels weak. Hopefully, this can be rectified. Maybe Natsumi can slap some sense into Yota once and for all. We desperately need some more tender romantic scenes between Yota and Ai. If it doesn't happen, I will consider most of this series to be a total waste!
