The story is interesting and the writing is well done but I'm just losing interest. 4 stars for that. Maybe I'll come back to it some time. The first reviewer did a good job of summarizing it. The ML is another initially cold CEO type who warms up to the FL because she starts acting spoiled/coquettish via texting...Just be aware that if you are looking for a pure innocent FL, this isn't it. The ML is closing in on 30 and has never had a girlfriend but the FL, a veteran actress in the industry, is a couple years younger than the ML and is a player in every sense. She has a history of "fresh meat" aka younger actor, in each movie she stars in. She targets them on purpose. She admits to being fickle and promiscuous. The novel sort of tried to whitewash this by saying that she needs to be in love to act well in her romantic roles so she dumps every one after each movie is done, mutually agreed on she claims (not). That said, it's probably more in line with what the real entertainment industry is actually like. The FL's character is well done though, very realistic, for better or worse. That said, the novel tries very hard to make her a sympathetic character. Try it and you might like it. Most of what I read so far is primarily through the FL's viewpoint.
